Is there different securtity s/w. I haven't played around with LMS on Windows for a few years but I know some types of security s/w used to be slow "examining" tcp stream delaying packets or holding on to last packets of stream so making the stream very "lumpy" to an audio streamer.
Also the transcode process of LMSon Windows uses an application called socketwrapper - which routes data between processes using Named Pipes - many security products considered Named Pipes as routes for Trojans etc. so it may help if you can tell your security s/w that socketwrapper is OK and not to be subjected to anychecks ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
