Strange halt. I am using the DASH version which works very well, but I have come across a strange effect.
When playing Live to my google cast audio device it stops playing the audio after about 1minute but my phone app still thinks it is playing. However when playing non Live this does not occur and Audio continues to stream. No does it occur when I am playing my own music files on my system. When playing to my touch or radio it does not occur either. Looking at my RPI II B cpu it is significantly less busy with the Google cast live stream than with the others. I have the Google cast codec preference set to aac, if that makes a difference ( I had the same problem with the preference set to flc). I'm not sure whether it is a iplayer issue or a Google cast issue or both.
