You're right, this is not a firewall problem. There is an answer to the
"RECORD" request which is not compliant to AirPlay specifications, and
it raises an error. I probably can find a workaround, but looking at the
answers, it also means, BWT that the softwate inside the speaker is a
shairtunes hack, nnot an "official" AirPlay client. Depending on the
version they took, synchronization might not work.
Have you tried using the speaker with iTunes? I'll do a workaround
probably in the next few hours
