I am using ActivEdit on two projects right now, and have the same problem. I have researched the problem, and found a potential fix in the ActivSoftware knowledgebase at the link below. The DisplayAddForm and DisplayEditForm tags appear to have an improperly nested form, so this may be the problem (and it may not be).

I hope to look into this later in the week myself. Right now, since my clients mostly use IE it hasn't been an issue, but I can see where it would be a big deal for you.

One comment, one question.
Several weeks ago, I decided to throw in with Plum to revise an old and consequently large and unwieldy web
(http://www.globalschoolhouse.org .
My major concern was adapting plum to my existing user tables (3 major, 3 minor tables)... And much to my satisfaction (and thanks
to very well structured, documented, and obvious components), I've found it easy to adapt all of the authorization security
components. Between this code and the CFMX Bible (thanks Adam, David (and et.al)) I've learned tons about the current state of the
art. (I've downloaded and tried many other "open source" and freeware addons for CF, and have even bought some components, and none
of them have been as slick and well-structured as what's in the Plum kit.)
Thanks Jeff, for your recommendation... Your response was key to my decision.

Now for my question:
I asked a few weeks ago about a problem I was having with getting activedit to work. In revisiting this problem I realized I should
have been a bit more specific in my question. Therefore, I'm resubmitting with more detail.
I negelected to mention that Activedit works fine inside Plum forms with a plain submit button in both I.E. and Firefox.
However, I'm trying to integrate it as well in the built-in Plum Content Editor at
admin/content/PlumContentItemEditForm.cfm which has the nice gif submits at the bottom of the page (save and create new page, etc).
The _javascript_ that performs those functions works fine in I.E., but won't perform any action in Firefox: no errors, no alerts. Has
anyone else listening in gotten activedit to work with this content editor page?
Thanks for any insights.
Al
