Kind of, I have a boot mode which is like "text boot" and with "-m multi-user" which doesn't start X. As far as I can tell, uadmin 3 22 works, and I get the console back, the e1000g ethernet resumes and such. Maybe interesting findings in /var/adm/message are: acpica: [ID 530733 kern.notice] NOTICE: acpica_ddi_setwake: could not evaluate _PRW last message repeated 3 times > > Is there any newer version of the > > nvidia driver around somewhere that one could try? > > Which version of the nvidia driver do you have > installed? > > Check the VERSION field reported by > > pkginfo -l NVDAgraphicr > IIRC Version 177.80 is included in build 101. I have NVDAgraphics 177.80,REV=2008.10.02.14.10 and NVDAgraphivsr 177.80,REV=2008.10.13.09.38 > There may be newer versions of the nvidia driver > available. > > Please note that the nvidia driver included with > opensolaris > and the Solaris nvidia driver downloadable from > nvidia's > website are not identical. Indeed! They have a 177.82, http://www.nvidia.com/object/solaris_display_177.82.html It doesn't seem to work any better regarding suspend/resume though. Thanks for your help! /ragge -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
