Kind of, I have a boot mode which is like "text boot" and with "-m multi-user" 
which doesn't start X. As far as I can tell, uadmin 3 22 works, and I get the 
console back, the e1000g ethernet resumes and such.

Maybe interesting findings in /var/adm/message are:
 acpica: [ID 530733 kern.notice] NOTICE: acpica_ddi_setwake: could not  
evaluate _PRW
 last message repeated 3 times

I have NVDAgraphics 177.80,REV=2008.10.02.14.10
and NVDAgraphivsr 177.80,REV=2008.10.13.09.38

Indeed! They have a 177.82,

It doesn't seem to work any better regarding suspend/resume though.
