IIRC this amount of wakeups is really high? Wakeups-from-idle per second: 139250.4 interval: 5.0s What was this on earlier Powertop?
This system is doing builds right now so I can't experiment. However, the above interval is misleading because it wasn't a five second wall clock snapshot. A crude estimate is it took about 25-30 seconds for this update. I also see a similar lag on the very first snapshot -- it definitely waits some multiple of five seconds before displaying the first output. I had previously run prstat and all the processes except powertop were sleeping and using 0.0% CPU on each snapshot which might indicate the wakeups are kernel based. The only new device I've attached to this system in months is a USB Digitech GNX4, but it was removed prior to testing. _______________________________________________ pm-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pm-discuss
