In reference to http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/CleanUrls, it seems that I want Example Three.
I'm not sure what the "web document root directory" is. I copied the .htaccess file there and uploaded it to charternetwork.org/public_html. I also added the following to my config.php file: $EnablePathInfo = 1; $ScriptUrl = "http://charternetwork.org";; But it didn't work.
