Here is a patch to Pod::Text (from perl v5.5.670) that adds the missing
HTML escapes that can be displayed on an xterm. This includes
support for E<copy> and E<plusmn> that I tend to miss a lot. Not sure how
to supply the equivalent for Pod::Man.
Hope I have the patch the correct way round (first patch on p5p) and that
it can squeeze into the final 5.6 release [a very simple patch]:
