cannot check poe w/ anon. cvs

hi,

tried to check out poe from sourceforge w/ anonymous cvs.  it won't work.
here's the error message:

setuid failed: Invalid argument
cvs [checkout aborted]: authorization failed: server cvs.poe.sourceforge.net rejected 
access

I've seen this happen w/ anon. cvs on another sourceforge project also.
Any idea if this can be fixed?
