Nope! It should definitely NOT be leaking memory. I finally found the leak and fixed it. It was in the unique wheel IDs allocated in POE::Wheel. The function to delete defunct IDs was not doing so properly. A fix has been committed to CVS. This was a long-standing slow leak.
