She felt sorry for her knowing that it happened so recently.  It hurt worse
close to when people died.  Kat knew that very well.  It still hurt, but it
wasn't the same as right after it happened, that was really bad, when she
didn't want to do anything ever again.  Now, she liked doing things again
and had fun.
