I had sat in silence since Patrick's disappearance, I wanted to savour the
feeling of his presence as long as possible. Derek's voice snapped me back
to reality, for a moment I was confused, but nodded, "of course I don't
mind," I said in a whisper. Truth was I could use the comfort she brought me
right now, I needed to know she was safe.

Julia sat back down and let Derek go, closing her eyes for a moment to try
and focus on what had happened and what had to be done, pushing away the
more personal aspects of it and just focusing on Kat, Rachel and Patrick.
