she took her first sip.  "I hope we don't completely overwhelm your father.
Did you tell him to expect more than just you?"

Reese tried to remember, pretty sure the invite was to 'join us' and to
bring a friend if he wanted...

"Wait until the caffeine hits and I'll remember but I'm pretty sure I had."
Then she looked at her friend "How're you feeling?"
