Ria laughed at the frustration in Derek's voice. She knew it wasn't a wise
move but she felt like goading the elder man. "What too much coffee, Derek?
Sent everybody home? No one allowed to play?"

Derek:
Derek did not find this amusing in the slightest.  He slammed his free hand
on the table.  He took a deep breath before answering.  "Funny, I was
wondering if you'd kidnapped everyone and taken them away," he replied
rather sarcastically.  "Where are you?"
