Derek:
"I didn't know until a few minutes ago," Derek told her. "Try not to be out
too late, you can meet Milo tomorrow."
Derek hung up and went about his other evening activities, welcoming Milo,
looking after Julia. And finally, when Ria returned, coming downstairs to
speak with her per her request. He had taken a laptop into Julia's room and
saw Ria enter the house in a small window on his screen. He turned the
computer off, feeling reasonably sure that Julia would stay asleep for the
rest of the night, he headeded out and met Ria at the stairs. "You look worn
out," he commented, motioning her to follow him to his study.

(ooc: You can keep the edwin scene going until you finish, but I figured in
an effort to get everyone closer to being on the same day, I'd go ahead and
start this scene.:-)
