--Darien--
It was a long and boring ride from San Diego to San Francisco but it was all worth it. Darien Fawkes was completely happy that he was millions of miles away from that damn Agency and he'd be even more
happier if they would hurry up and reach the destination for the meeting that they had set up with one Jamie Daniels. He's heard things about this woman and thought she'd be perfect for what he and Lucy had planned on doing. When they finally reached the Golden Gate Park, Darien jumped out of that damn cramped car of hers. He watched Lucy get out not long after he had. "Damn powder blue candy car." He said under his breath, not caring if Lucy heard either, actually he hoped she heard him. He loved making fun of that car and only because he knew it bugged the hell out of Luc. Darien grinned then walked into the park in search of Jamie.

Lucy
The last several weeks had been somewhat blurry for Lucrezia de Vere. Darien Fawkes, whom Lucy had met previously on several rather unusual occasions, had gone AWOL from his 'handlers'. Finally. And she had, at the time of this revelation, been planning something she rather hoped would cement a nice reputation for her among the academic world. There had been some quite interesting rumors floating around the more cultured side of her profession about a certain foundation based out of San Francisco, The Luna Foundation, and what they kept. The details, at least when she first heard them, had all sounded rather patchy. But now, now they sounded extraordinary. So, of course, she welcomed the unforeseen revelation about Darien and his sudden absence from the Agency. He was a highly adept thief to begin with, but he did have other...talents... which she valued even more.

Lucy pulled into Golden Gate Park, her mind distracted by the thought of a new associate. She had resisted the idea at first, but after Darien's explanation of Miss Daniel's genii, she came to the conclusion it would be in their best interests to go along with it. There was always room for more expertise, especially in this case. She raised the roof of the convertible, opened the door and stepped out in time to hear Darien's quip about the blue BMW. Lucy was in no mood for this, not after having to put up with him all the way from San Diego. She glared at him briefly, only long enough to send him a message. Not that it would change anything, he had gotten used to her 'looks' by now. Straightening her pant suit and drawing herself in against the crisp night air, she followed Darien into the park until she spotted what she believed to be Jamie. Nodding to Darien, Lucy began to approach the girl. "Miss Daniels, I presume?" She asked, her aristocratic accent at it's most impeccable.
