>Jamie
>I shot Darien a warning glare, don't dig any further I thought, don't
push it. "I could tell you the rumours I've heard," I told him, "but >I'm
guessing it's nothing that your lady friend doesn't alreay know." My
knife turned absent mindedly in my fingers, twirling skillfully >as I
spoke. "Probably just be best to get over there right away...there's
bound to be some dock guy with a boat who'll happily take us >over
there." And if not it would give me the chance to have fun...always liked
gentle persuasion, I thought with a slightly cruel smile.
Lucy
Rumors? Well, yes, Lucy had heard some rather unusual rumors about Luna,
but she had never spoken of them to Darien. Only someone not in their
right mind would be chump enough to believe the more colourful bruits
she'd discovered. She lightly nodded to Jamie. It would be interesting to
hear what the...locals...had to say about the place. "What sort of
rumors, exactly?" Lucy asked, attempting to sound peaked about them but
not quite pulling it off. "And yes, I concur. The sooner we get over,"
she hesitated, viewing their current surroundings with dissatisfaction,
"There, the better." Lucy said sharply, glancing back and forth between
the two before settling her gaze on the blade the girl spun expertly in
her fingertips. Oh, what she wouldn't have given to have this punk try
something. It certainly would have made her day a little more
interesting. But alas, there was no time for such things. At least not
yet. "Then I trust this little gathering is completed, non?" She grinned,
straightening her jacket.
