He wasn't listening...his mind was elsewhere, why did that always happen at
the most inconvenient of moments? "Derek, listen to me and listen good," I
said firmly, leaving no room for argument. "Kat's in
danger...something...someone is close by," I wished I could be more precise,
give him some reason to believe me...but I knew he trusted me...would that
be enough?
