Derek knew Alex was not an alarmest.  If she truely believed Kat was in
trouble then, he had no reason to question it.  "I'll keep a close eye on
her," he promised.  "I've been worried about a friend of hers who showed
here the other day.  You don't suppose that other child could have something
to do with all of this do you?"
