Jane:
Jane chuckled and patted Kristen's hand encouragingly. "I've always found
it rather difficult to trust these hunks of medal myself," she confessed.
She remained quite for a bit after that though, considering Kristen's
request. They caould of course call, but that might not solve the problem.
She'd rather have the young woman get it out of her system and come back
home ready to work, than be distracted by the worry. "All right, but I want
you to update Peter on the status of your projects before you leave and make
sure he understands what it is you're doing so he can pick it up while
you're away."
Jane

"Wonderful!" Kristen jumped up with a burst of energy--the adrenaline
rush she always got when she could finally take some sort of action.
"I'm going to pack right now, that way I can talk to Peter first thing in
the morning-well, after he's up;" she pushed her hair behind her ear, and
after a moments thought, "If everything goes as planned, I can be there by
tonight." Kristen turned, and leaning on the door to the control room,
looked at Jane. "Thank you, Jane. I need to do this," she smiled, and
putting her fingers in the sign of the boyscouts, "And I promise to keep you
up-to-date on what happens!"
Kristen
