> Kristen sat back in her chair and sighed. "Thank you for letting me stay,
Derek, and I'll do my best to see if I can figure this out, but...I really
have no idea beyond what I've already told you. And to be honest, I was so
focused on getting here and making sure everyone was all right that I hadn't
really thought any further ahead."
>
> Suddenly she sat up in her chair and looked at Derek. "Maybe we're not
getting it. Maybe everything that's happening isn't as random as we
think...we're just not looking at things the right way."

Derek:
Derek gazed at her mulling this over. "Perhaps, but if it is all connected
there must be some common thread. And so far, nothing has shown itself at
all. Everything that has been happening is so removed from everything
else." He frowned. "Perhaps we've over looked something though. It's
worth looking into certainly"

As he wracked his brain trying to think of something he might have missed.
Something, seemingly insignificant, it happened. He finally had a vision of
his own and this one did not seemt he least bit insignificant. He saw
flashes of red, bright red, a dark cave like room and one flash of Julia
bound and chained unable to move. That last image though fleeting made his
breath catch in his chest and his heart sink. <"what will you do when she
is taken away again," the voice of Michael echoed in his head.> Derek ran
his hands across his face as he composed himself. It was so vivid though.
So vivid he did not want to let Julia out of his sight again.
