He thought he'd answered that question already, but resigned himself to the
fact that for whatever reason his reply had not sunk in.  "Never better," he
reitterated the sincerity of his words reflected in his dark eyes.  She
seemed awfully concerned about this for some reason he couldn't understand
and that worried him a bit.  Perhaps she was changing her mind,
though....that seemed rather unlikely it was still a possibility.  "Julia,
what is this all about," he asked finally.  He knew there had been more to
her question than the simple words said, but he wasn't exactly sure what.
