Sam:
Sam was getting better at hiding her feelings for Julis, or maybe the woman
didn't bot her so much anymore, though that seemed impossible. "Good
afternoon Dr. Rayne," she said an smile, "Kat, Miss Walker," she added.
"Sister." Or maybe it was the nun, nuns always made her a bit nervous.
Kat:
"Hi," the little responded remembering her from a few days before.
Derek:
"Ms. Owens," Derek responded, "this is my sister Ingrid. This is Samantha
Owens and this other young lady is Milo's daughter Marissa Morgan."
Sam:
Sam held her hand out to Ingrid, "it's a pleasure to meet you," she said
sincerely. A nun, his sister was a nun? She almost groaned mentally.
Well, at least he wasn't a priest.
Derek:
"Milo, why don't you help me move this table over," he smiled at the hostess
who nodded at him. Then, helped Milo carry the table over, moving his chair
so he was sitting beside Julia on the now longer side of the table. Sam
took the chair on the end to his right and Milo and Marissa had room by
Ingrid.
Derek did sigh inwardly at the seating arrangement.
