"No Kat is fine," he assured her. "And Julia is tougher than she looks," he
added.

"She's fine too." He took a few sips of his own tea, noticing for the first
time how dry is throat was. Probably a side effect of Rachel's sudden
appearance in the room.

Julia looked up at that and gave Rachel a wink before setting the plate of
cut up meatloaf and mashed potatoes in front of her and cleaning up the area
she had just fixed the food in "Do you remember me coming in earlier?"

Rachel drank some tea and thought for a moment before nodding "Neon
Band-Aids and Kat going to school tomorrow."

Then she looked at the two, lips quirking before she set about eating what
Julia had prepared.

"And that's all I remember." she told them with a humorous, albeit kind of
weak because of her physical state, lift of her lips "I'm happy for you
though. Makes sense. But I'll chalk it up to whatever it is they have me
on now for whatever it is I saw."

"Cute though.." she couldn't help but tease a little "But it's chalked up to
whatever."

She looked up at Julia and gave her a half knowing smile "You do want this
kept under wraps I assume. Especially considering no one has talked about
it, so it must not be common knowledge."

"It'd be much appreciated." Julia replied wryly, refilling both her and
Derek's glass before refilling her own.

"I figure it's the least I can do for not feeding me more brother." Rachel
winked, chewing carefully and then swallowing.
