He arrived at Nick's car, which was already running and hopped into the
passenger side. Pulling out his phone he called Frank and asked him to do
an unofficial drive by. A few moments later his cell phone rang and Frank
reported that all seemed quite at the man's house. Really quiet. Derek
hung up. "He is either sleeping or not home."
"My lock picking kit says we should find out which one it is." Nick quipped
as he drove, jaw tightening.
A few minutes later they were approaching the address of the third guy that
Alex had pulled up on the computer. Sure enough it was visibly quiet and he
parked a couple of blocks away, also spotting one of Frank's officers' car
pulling off, having just finished an inspecting drive by.
Nick reached over and opened up the glove compartment, handing Derek one of
the flashlights there "Ready?"
