Derek couldn't help but worry even with the reassurance. A day ago, Luna
Foundation business didn't seem dangerous at all, but now? He didn't want
her doing anything that would even give her a paper cut. Of course he knew
Julia couldn't be asked to stay at home and rest on pillowy sofas, but if
she would he'd have her doing it in a heart beat. "I know," he replied after
returned her kiss, allowing it to linger as long as he could. He reached up
and pushed the hair back from her face. "No, flying up chimneys," he added.
