Derek watched this scene with increasing amusement. "Don't worry, I won't
ask," he assured Julia and then took a seat on the stool she indicated. "I
will however, eat a slice of that," he said indicating the wheat toast. Then
he frowned at his coffee mug, giving both it and Jonathan a suspicious look.
He loved Julia and would do anything for her. However, the sudden
realization that Jonathan might have switched him to decaf was beginning to
sink in. He was not a morning person, never had been and depriving him of
his daily dose of caffeine could be disastrous, particularly on days when he
woke up in a bad mood.
Jonathan gave him the other slice and a somewhat disproving look "I said
there was a reason why you kept me around being as I keep things to myself
and am relatively smart. Switching your coffee without you doing it is not
smart."
Julia chuckled at that and took a bite of the raisin bread before putting it
down and taking a bite of the bacon. Then she blinked "Oh, vitamin."
She started to get up "Left it upstairs, be right back. And you're right,
replacing his coffee is a baaaad move."
