"It does," Derek said thoughtfully, "except I don't recall ever saying that
the Legacy was a democracy." He turned his dark eyes on Julia.
"We could just wait until everyone is here," he pointed out. "But I'll
leave it up to you."
Remembering Rachel's reaction from the night before, Julia had to wonder if
they should wait and a small cloud passed her over gaze before she asked
"Has anyone checked on Rachel and Kat?"
