Sam was surprised by this. It was after all a really long time ago, surely
he'd had relationships since then. Of course maybe the woman was his true
love, being a romantic at heart Sam couldn't help but latch on to that idea.
"That's too bad," she commented finishing her drink. "But I know how you
feel. I haven't had anything work out either." She glanced at the clock
the hour just beginning to register. "We should probably be heading home,"
she suggested, before Reese sends the blood hounds out ot find us."
