Sam:
"I enjoy your stories.  No one else I've ever met has done such interesting
things.  That's saying a lot considering I've lived in San Francisco my
whole life.  This it the one city in the country that pays for sex change
operations for city employees.  You'd think I find some more interesting
people around."  She grinned at him and shrugged.

His kiss caught her completely off guard.  It was wierd all right, being
kissed by your best friends father, but it was just a kiss on the cheek and
he had been drinking some.  It probably didn't mean a thing.  The oddest
thing was that it didn't make her feel icky or creeped out.  It just
felt....nice.  She ducked her head slightly not sure what to do or say.
Then she turned her green eyes toward him and mangaed a gentle smile.  "Good
night," she said to him.  "I'll see you later."
