Kristen:
Giving Philip a somewhat tired grin in response, Kristen half-sighed as she tucked a few strands of her blonde hair behind her ear. Making sure she also kept her voice low, "Hi yourself. I've been better, but..." her small grin turned a bit mischevious, "Patience is a virtue, right? So, I'm learning. Slowly..." Kristen turned serious again, wondering how she could word things so Philip would know what she was talking about, but no one else in the room would if they over-heard. "Julia's a good friend, right? She'll be the perfect way to get in touch with the House, since my phone is being held hostage..." She hoped Philip understood; she was anxious to get a hold of Derek, or Alex, or well, somebody, but she certainly couldn't come right out and ask if Julia was Legacy... Philip: Philip smiled at the mention of his friend, gaze warm, despite the seriousness of the matter "Yes, she is. She'll get us in touch 'nd probably back to th' house. If there's a way, she'll find it. "Bu' I have te agree with the others to a point." his expression grew serious "I had th' chance to read a bit o' th' inscription. We don't want anyone finding us before we get it locked up in the Control Room. I just don't want te tell them how serious this could become." He reached out and put his hand on Kristen's shoulder, giving her a wry smile "Patience is th' hardest virtue te learn.. bu' your doin' better than most in your place." |
