Sam stepped back too, not knowing where the hot lock might fly. "No, I
didn't even know Milo was here, I thought they left him at the house. She's
still pretty sick," she added glancing at Reese. It felt so strange talking
to Julia, knowing what she now new. If circumstances had been different Sam
would have tucked her tail between her legs and run as far and fast as she
could. She felt just terrible, but she had to push that away. They had to
get out of here first.
"I wasn't sure." Julia answered, keeping her eye out for anyone that might
sneak up on them. Once the door was opened she pulled the door open for
them "Let's get her to the House and cooled down."
She motioned for them to follow her and, sword in hand and ready, Julia
started back in the direction they had been brought in, relying solely on
memory as she went.
