He leaned forward and kissed her deeply.  After breaking away he looked at
her again.  "And I wouldn't have you any other way."

Alex looked in the rearview mirror just then and grinned before the ferry
came to a stop, nodding in return when she was guided off of the ferry by
the worker and started toward the restaurant Nick had gotten reservations
at.

A few minutes later they were pulling up to the door and being guided out by
the valet to wait for Julia and Derek to follow.
