"Thanks," Amber resonded, taking the seat she was offered. "Yeah, I guess I
will be staying with you guys. Since I've decided to go to Berkley, well,
Jane figured this would be the best place for me to be," she said. She
cleared her throat, trying to make her voice a little stronger. "Thank you
for letting me sit in on your wedding dinner," she added, hoping they
really didn't mind having her.
"You're more than welcome." Julia answered with a friendly smile before
taking a sip of the milk and then asking "Are you settled for Berkley with
classes and things or do you still need to register?"
