Returning to Julia's side he took her hand and drew her to her feet. "Thank
you all very much...we'll see you in the morning."
He then led her out of the restaurant and to his car.
Julia hadn't even realized it but had fallen asleep by the time they reached
home. Thankfully, there wasn't anyone awake to cross their paths by way of
Council or Sloan but Julia woke up enough to make it into the house and to
their bedroom, happily falling back to sleep beside Derek, her first night
as Missus Rayne. The soft smile tracing her lips was there even as she
finished changing into the pajama top she practically took over and crawled
into bed and curled into Derek's side.
"'night, hon.." she whispered before sleep took her.
