Reaching over and shaking Julia gently, he spoke her name. "Julia..."
"Hmm?" she answered, opening her eyes and smiling softly " 'ullo.."
Then she straightened, only to realize they weren't home "Oh."
Once she was awake, he escorted her into the hotel and to the front desk.
Leaving the bellman to tend to the luggage he had slipped out of the house
earlier. Derek signed the register and collected the key to one of the
penthouse suites, then he led Julia to the special elevator that only went
to the top floor.
The suite was elegantly decorated in an antibellum theme. There was a
balcony complete with hot tub that over looked the San Francisco bay.
"You sneak," she mock accused before kissing him "When did you plan this?
It's beautiful."
