Derek's jaw tightened. "I beg to differ with you," he said his voice a bit
gruff. "Seeing as NONE of us know the first thing about what the other side
is truly like, it is the height of arrogance to presume you can determine
anything by asking such questions. As for medical evidence, we ran our own
tests on her and they all checked out. Those test results were conducted
properly and should be evidence enough. Unless of course you are
questioning the integrity of my entire house." He didn't care if he was
sounding unreasonable.

Cassandra looked at the San Francisco Precept, disproval in her gaze "We do
have records, Derek. Now please stop speaking out of turn and let us do our
job or you will be asked to leave."

"Actually," Julia spoke up and stepped in between the two, specifically in
front of Cassandra and dropping three more folders in front of her "You have
exactly three logged cases in the history of the Legacy and Mankind. And in
none of those have they spoken of things on the other side that you have
asked me here today."

"But be that as it may," Julia continued, falling into her old head of
security/take charge mode "We are discussing the fact that I am in fact me,
Julia Michelle Walker now Rayne. Please refer to the medical records and I
believe the next step is to call in the Legacy physician that was present
for the exam?"

"I would also ask that Franklin Cross be present." she added, explaining her
reason why "Although he has gone to extreme measure to get me here, his
concern, no matter how.. misplaced or radical, is in direct regards of what
we're discussing now."

She turned to get another folder and had to keep from frowning openly as
Amelia made it very clear she wasn't a happy camper. Julia looked at Derek
and wondered what the hell to do now. She never did get the chance to eat
and now she was paying for it.
