"Some things were said in the hall, by a well meaning tribunal member, that
shouldn't have been said," Derek told him.  He glanced at Cassandra.

Cassandra looked at the woman beside Derek Rayne, thoughtful.  She
remembered her reaction to learning about the demon and what had happened...
and looking at her now, it was hard to dismiss the emotions shown toward the
fact, or even now.  The Precept's gaze went to the couple's joined hands
before she looked back up and inhaled calmly "I may have been rash in my
assumption.  I would like to get back to the proceedings in order to clear
this whole matter up."
