>"But be that as it may," Julia continued, falling into her old head of
>security/take charge mode "We are discussing the fact that I am in fact me,

>"I would also ask that Franklin Cross be present." she added, explaining
>her reason why "Although he has gone to extreme measure to get me here, his

>The three Precepts silently agreed. Su Lin turned to Sloan. "Precept, if
>you would, please bring Doctor Rachel Corrigan and Investigator Franklin
>Cross before the tribunal." Sloan Nodded and exited the room
>"Untill they arrive, this tribunal shall stand at recess," decreed the
>Tokyo Precept. "Precept Rayne, I would like to speak with you for a
>moment, in private." Reaching for his cane, Su Lin got up from his chair
>and walked over to a window, motioning for Derek to follow him.

Derek was livid when Cassandra threatened to have him removed. He was about
to stand up and say something, when he was suddenly gripped once more by
naussea. He took a deep breath and ran a hand over his forehead. Not now,
he told himself.

He was vaguely aware of the anguished looke on Julia's face. As the recess
was called, he stood up very slowly forcing himself to push the increasing
feeling of sickness away. He squeezed Julia's hand. "Have Jonathan bring
something up for you," he told her. "Or send...," he had to stop and take a
deep breath, "Nick." He then headed over to Su Lin at the window.

He folded his arms across his chest and tried to maintain his composure. "I
suggest you say whatever it is you need to say quickly," he advised. And
this suggestion was not only because his anger.
