Derek gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Su Lin, this is my wife...Julia
Rayne." No one on the tribunal had been properly introduced to her, so he
felt it necessary to go through this formality. It felt rather hot in the
room and her ran his free hand across his forehead.
She accepted the medicine from Nick and turned back to Su Lin and nodded,
although she then excused herself and Derek "I hope we can speak after the
Tribunal and I don't mean to be rude but I need Derek for a moment if you
don't mind."
Julia didn't say why but she left it to where the man would assume it was to
help her with something. She then looked at Derek and silently urged him to
follow her out.
