Derek hesitated giving Su Lin one last thoughtfully look. "I am 100%
positive," he assured the man. Then he turned and started out after Julia,
stopping when he caught up to her.
But he wasn't the only one and Cassandra caught up to them, just as Julia -
thinking the area was clear - reached up to kiss Derek's forehead to check
for a fever and giving him a look that was concerned but firm that she
wasn't going to ignore how he felt.
"Derek." Cassandra called out, making Julia blink and look back. The woman
took a step closer and held out her hand "I'll take that."
"Excuse me?" Julia asked, both confused and wondering what the woman was
thinking by practically dismissing her from taking care of Derek.
"He doesn't look good." Cassandra stated the obvious "He looks.... "
"Like he might have food poisoning." Julia offered as a solution.
"- or that the demon that had possessed a woman named Jessica is trying to
seduce him again." Cassandra finished frankly, having read about the case
after it had happened "Or to be quite frank, raping him again."
Julia paled visibly, more to the part about Derek being hurt by someone like
that than being accused of being a demon again.
