Derek gasped, holding her close as the images bombarded him.  It was her
sudden...evaporation that dragged him back to the control room.  He looked
around frantically for her, but knew she was gone.  He had to get to
her.....where were they?  He reran the images in his mind.  Oh my God.  In a
rush he started towards the control room doors.  He stopped just before
exiting.  "Don't leave un til you finish the research," he ordered gruffly,
yet distracted.  "I'll check the logs."  He then rushed through the doors
and down to his car pulling out his cell phone and hitting the recall for
his friend in the police department.  "Frank....Julia's been locked in a
vault under the newspaper office.....the......Herald....we have to get her
out....she's running out of time...I'm on my way."
