Derek took off before Philip even got the car door closed securely. He
caught a glimpse of Nick coming after them and was glad of that. He only
stopped to wait for the ferry, which was on time, but in between scheduled
landings and Derek was not feeling terribly patient with it today. He was
comtemplating flying when the boat finally docked. He sped onto it parked
and waited again. All the images running over and over through his mind.
He picked up the phone again and called Frank back. "I think Megan Torrence
knows something about this he said before hanging up....he knew she did and
he couldn't understand it. Finally the boat stopped on the SF side and he
sped off giving Nick a run for his money.
