Derek parked the car by the curb in a fire lane and jumped out before it had
stopped moving completely. He started towrdst eh building and then stopped
rushing back to where Nick had parked to see what kind of cutting tools he
had brought with him. "We have to hurry," he told the younger man.
Nick clenched his jaw and was already pulling out the cutter and goggles
he'd need, not even sparing a look back as he and Derek went toward the
building and he followed, the sound of police sirens sounding in the
distance behind them "Just show me where it is."
