Derek chuckled, "among other things," he said softly squeezing her hand.
He hoped the hospital wouldn't take long. Julia smiled and leaned toward him, kissing his forehead softly before giving the medic a look. She had caught his quick start and stop as he wisely stopped himself from reminding her of the oxygen mask and her precautionary need to wear it. Julia then put the mask up to her face and sat back. It was a matter of minutes when they stopped at the Emergency exit and all four patients, from both ambulances, were helped out and into wheelchairs. Julia chuckled quietly, knowing the guys would probably be grumbling about riding in one. But for her...? She sat back and, for once, enjoyed the ride. "Hey Alex," she looked over at her friend as they were checked in, ready to be wheeled to respective rooms "Are you going to be canceling your subscription to the paper now?" She put the mask back on at the EMT's look -- until she saw Derek being wheeled to a different room than she was being taken too. "I highly suggest you put them in the same room together." a voice sounded from behind her, making her turn her head curiously and grin at the doctor she recognized. The one that had checked her out the night she and Derek found out they were going to be expecting Amelia "That is unless you really want to deal with a couple of unhappy campers?" The doctor looked over the records, blinking once in surprise at the reason why they were here and then nodded toward an empty room that had two beds "Wheel them in there. I'll check on your friends and then we'll go ahead and fix Mr. Rayne up and then do an ultrasound. That okay?" Julia nodded and they were wheeled into and then helped into a couple of medical beds. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
