He wondered how he could have been so wrong about Megan. Why hadn't he seen any signs of her mental illness? And if it wasn't that, why had she done such a thing? How could he have cared for someone capable of something so hideous? He knew that he would probably never find the answer to those questions. Now it was just a matter of accepting that and putting the whole thing into it's proper perspective. Julia put her hands over and then laced her fingers with his, wrapping his arms closer about her.
