Was it just of Derek and herself or of the whole party?  That could narrow it down considerably as to what the thief's target could be.

"It was the one I took of you two right after the ceremony," Bryce said.  "Just the two of you., that's why I still had it in my apartment, I was supposed to mail it off to the framers today."

Julia put her fork down and signaled for the waitress to pack the rest of her food into a to go container "I suggest you go and try and get in touch with your father and then call us.  We'll try on our end and see what we can turn up."

She would have suggested he come to the House but... something didn't feel right at the moment.  And he wasn't a Legacy member so couldn't have access to the equipment she had in mind of using anyway.

And maybe, just maybe, they'd luck out and reach his father by conventional methods.

The waitress came over, picked up Julia's plate and left, returning a moment later with food and drink in a white paper bag.

Julia picked up the glass of water that had been left and sipped at it while waiting for Derek to get his back, looking at him thoughtfully as her brain set into security mode and calculated the odds of everything that had happened up until now.

And it didn't look good.
