"I don't mean to be a backseat driver," he said, dryly "But you might want to avoid going on the parkway this time of day."   Julia tensed at hearing the voice and then, before Derek could slam on the breaks, turned in her seat and whapped the Soulchaser in the side of the head with her to go bag and plopped it down in his lap "How many times do I have to tell you NO sneaking up on people!"   Then to Derek "It's okay..... kind of.  He won't hurt us anyway."   Then back to the Soulchaser "Those punks at the hospital... ?"
