Derek waited silently mulling this all over. When the rest of the food arrived he picked up the bag and stood waiting for Julia. He intended to walk her out the way he had walked her in.
"Call us if you turn up anything and we'll do the same," Derek promised "And keep us posted even if you don't find anything." "And be careful." Julia added before they started to leave and leaning into Derek's escorting embrace to whisper to him in a half teasing murmur "You keep this up and I'm going to feel like you've become my new security blanket." She then chuckled and kissed his cheek as they walked, to show him she didn't mind it at all.
