And with her statement alone, it was obvious that this was not something she was going to back down from.

As a man of his word, Soulchaser would abide.  "No problem, but there;s a couple of things you should know.  Your husband seems to be a secondary target.  If they can't get to him, they're just likely to go straight for you.  I still need to make sure you;re protected."

"Secondly," Soulchaer added as an afterthought.  "Derek really doesn't seem to like me that much."

"I didn't ask you to become his buddy." she said wryly "Just watch out for him.  They went for him first when we were in the parking lot."

"And anyway," she added in the same tone "If Derek has his way I won't be leaving his side so it shouldn't be a problem for you."

"But," Julia stressed, meaning every single last word and expecting him to keep to it "If it comes down to me or him, you protect him.  If anything happens to him... "

She shook her head, refusing to think of such a thing happening.

Then she rubbed her arms and looked at Michael "How do I find the key? Where is it?"

The Angel smiled calmly, just as he started to fade out "When it's time for you to find it, you will."

"I hate it when he does that." Julia mumbled before turning back toward the door "Let's get inside, I'm getting cold."
